Women's Basketball to Host Ninth Annual Pink Out Event

FORT WAYNE, Ind. - The IPFW women's basketball team will host Denver on Saturday, January 30 at the Gates Sports Center as part of the 9th Annual Pink Out Event. All fans are encouraged to wear pink to support breast cancer awareness and honor survivors.
The 9th Annual Pink Out Event will begin with a pre-game luncheon at 12:00 p.m. in the International Ballroom, located in the Athletics Center on the IPFW campus. Alyssa Ivanson from WANE TV will emcee the luncheon that will honor breast cancer survivors. Breast cancer survivors who pre-register will receive free admission to the luncheon, the game, and will also receive a free gift.
Luncheon tickets for the general public are available for $20 per person and group ticket discounts are also available. $1 from every ticket sold will benefit the Vera Bradley Foundation for Breast Cancer Research.
