The 1999 men's soccer team will be enshrined as a team. They will become just the second team to be inducted into the hall of fame, joining the 2007 men's volleyball squad. The 1999 Mastodons won the Great Lakes Valley Conference and defeated Truman State in the NCAA Tournament for a school-record 18 victories. Terry Stefankiewicz was named the GLVC Coach of the Year, with Matt Hein earning GLVC Player of the Year honors. Hein and Jeff Richey were named All-Americans.
