Fabiana Souza, who played from 2002-05, ended her playing career at IPFW with an eye-popping 2,305 kills, a total that remains the 13th highest career total in NCAA Volleyball history. She was a two-time Independent Player of the Year, and three-time All-Independent First Team selection, while earning six Independent Offensive Player of the Week honors.
She also has four of the top seven single-season kill totals, including a school record 621 in 2004, and her 34 kills against South Dakota State on November 12, 2005 is the second-highest single-match total in program history. She also ranks sixth in career service aces (180), and seventh in career digs (1,434) in IPFW history.
