Jeff Ptak continued the long tradition of world-class attackers for the IPFW men's volleyball team. His career started off with a bang, being named the Midwestern Intercollegiate Volleyball Association's freshman of the year. Along the way, Ptak was named All-MIVA three times and the conference's Player of the year in 2003. He was part of the Mastodons 1999 Final Four team and was named an All-American in '03. Professionally, Ptak has played in Italy, Cyprus, Brazil, and Puerto Rico. He was named MVP of the Cyprus League in 2005 and 2006, and was the MVP of the Puerto Rican League in 2007. He is currently a member of the Mayaguez Indios.
