Lloy Ball is simply the most decorated athlete in school history. Ball is a four-time U.S. Olympian and former captain of the United State Olympic Volleyball team. As a setter, few could compare. He was a four-time NCAA All-American, he led his team to three NCAA Final Four appearances, and was twice named the Midwestern Intercollegiate Volleyball Association Player of the Year. He holds the IPFW record for career Assists (6,526) and Service Aces (167). He also holds the IPFW single match record for solo blocks (9) and assists in a season (2,047).Â
