Mike Mungovan was a four-year letter winner for the IPFW Baseball Team. Recognized as one of the cornerstones of the IPFW program, there were few who could swing the bat like him. Mungovan holds the IPFW record for All-Time Leader in Batting Average (.404) He also holds the IPFW record for batting average in a season. In 1977, Mungovan tortured opposing pitchers while hitting a nasty .466. He is tied for 3rd All-Time in Home Runs (17) and tied for 2nd All-Time in Triples (7).
