Norman Almodovar

Norman Almodovar was a member of the 1991, 1992, and 1994 IPFW men's volleyball teams that earned births in the NCAA Championship Semifinals. Almodovar was named an NCAA All-America in 1994. Norman also garnered All-Midwestern Intercollegiate Volleyball Association Honors in 1992, 1993, and 1994. Almodovar had a long and distinguished international career following his graduation from IPFW. He played for 15 seasons in the Puerto Rican Superior Volleyball League. He was named Rookie of the Year in 1988 and was named the League's Most Valuable Player in 1997 and 2000. Norman also was a 10-year member of the Puerto Rican National Team.
