Scott, who played from 1987-91 was a part of the golden era of IPFW women's basketball, as she helped lead her squads to a four-year record of 63-46, the second-best four-year record in program history. Her 1,527 points continue to rank seventh in program history, while sitting in the program top-10 in numerous categories including third in total rebounds (662), third in steals (219), seventh in career field goal percentage (.487), seventh in free throws made (309), seventh in free throws attempted (414), and ninth in blocked shots (52).

She led the team in scoring as a freshman in 1987-88 with 412 points, and averaged at least 13 points in each of her four seasons with the program. Her 68 steals from 1989-90 stands tied as the fourth-most in a season in program history, and joins teammate Lisa Miller in the Athletics Hall of Fame.
