YORKTOWN, Ind. - The IPFW women's golf team finished 17th at the Cardinal Classic at The Player's Club.
Western Michigan, paced by medalist Stephanie Donkin, won the team title with a score of 581. Ferris State placed second at the 17-team event with a total of 597. IPFW finished with a final score of 737.
Junior Vanessa Weimer (Auburn, IN/DeKalb) shot a second round 88 to finish tied in the 58th spot with a total score of 167.
The Mastodons are back in action on September 19 and 20 at Butler University.
