Roehm Aces the Zips in Win

Akron, OH - IPFW traveled to Akron to take on the Zips Wednesday night. The Mastodons made an early night of it, defeating the Zips in three.
IPFW won with final scores of 30-26, 30-20, 31-29.
The Mastodons were led by Jessica Miller with 12 kills on 22 attempts. She hit a .409 efficiency and added two block solos as well.
Rebekah Roehm knocked down 11 kills and added six service aces in the three game match.
Setter Jessica Dominiak had a double-double with 38 assists and 10 digs.
Peachy Jankowski led on defense with 17 digs. Cynara Martins had double-digit digs with 11.
Akron was led by Brionna Patterson with 16 kills and 11 digs. Abby Varterasian added 19 assists and three blocks for the Zips. Megan Rodriguez had 22 digs for the night.
The Mastodons (16-9) will host the University at Buffalo Bulls on Saturday Night (10/14) at 7 PM at the Gates Center.
