Cleveland, OH - The IPFW Women's Tennis team opened their fall season with a match at Cleveland State. The Mastodons just squeaked past the Vikings, 4-3.
In doubles, the pairs of Lisa Bartelheim and Hanna Hager and Sachi Janek and Alexa Rang each won their sets to take the point for IPFW.
In singles, Stacy Lish opened her first season at IPFW with a win over Denisa Muntean of CSU. Janek and Bartelheim continued their winning ways from their doubles matches to push the 'Dons over the Vikings, 4-3.
IPFW (1-0) will now travel to Ball State this weekend for the Ball State Invitational.
