Valparaiso, IN -The IPFW women's cross country team placed third out of seven teams in the Valparaiso Crusader Invitational, beating out Western Michigan, UW-Miwaukee, UW-Green Bay, and St. Joseph's College.

Leading IPFW was senior Ashley Ritchey (Leo, IN/Leo) who finished fourth overall with a time of 14:49. Freshman standout Mary Ballinger (Chesterton, IN/Chesterton) ran the 4K in 15:06, coming in eighth.

The 'Dons will travel to Terre Haute, IN on Friday, September 15 to run in the Indiana Intercollegiate meet.
