INDIANAPOLIS - After just one round of play the Butler Spring Invitational was called due to inclement weather. The Mastodons finished in seventh place with three ladies in the top 25.
Nicolle Geyer led the 'Dons for round one. She was tied for 20th with an 86. Alison Rathsman and Abbey Waltke finished tied for 23rd with 87s. Ball State's Katie Sundberg took medalist with a 74.
Overall the Mastodons recorded a 348 for the single round. Ball State took top honors with a team score of 317.
The Mastodons will take two weeks off before heading to the University of Cincinnati/University of Dayton Women's Collegiate Invitational held at the Hueston Woods State Park on April 3-4.
