Fort Wayne, IN - The IPFW Men's Tennis team split weekend action with Robert Morris and Illinois-Chicago. The 'Dons defeated Robert Morris, 6-1 and fell to Illinois-Chicago, 7-0.
The 'Dons almost had a clean sweep of the Colonials Friday morning. IPFW swept Robert Morris in doubles. The Colonials took #1 singles for their lone point. IPFW won #3 through #6 singles in straight sets while Hermann Kuschke won at #2 in three sets.
Against Illinois-Chicago, David Lynall took his competition to a third set, but fell to Sam Sweeney. The Flames made a complete sweep of the 'Dons.
The Mastodons will head to Coppin State and Maryland Eastern Shore for matches on March 2 and 3. Their next home match is March 21st when they will host Xavier at 12 noon at the IPFW Tennis Courts.
