'Dons Wrap Up Busy Weekend 1-3

Fort Wayne, IN - The IPFW Women's Tennis team wrapped up a busy weekend with a win over Robert Morris on Friday. Bradley, Evansville and Valparaiso proved to be tough competition as the 'Dons finished the weekend 1-3. Ashley Coulson and Stacy Lish went 4-0 in doubles for the weekend.
The Mastodons made it a clean sweep on Friday with Robert Morris, 7-0.
Against Bradley, the team of Ashley Coulson and Stacy Lish won at #1 doubles. Bradley swept the singles competition. The ladies were swept 7-0 by the Braves.
In the nightcap on Saturday the 'Dons faced the Purple Aces of Evansville. Evansville swept the singles competition. Hanna Hager took Allie Cox at #4 to tiebreakers in each set of her match. In doubles, Coulson and Lish won at #1 and Alexa Rang and Sachi Janek won at #3 to score the 'Dons lone point.
The Mastodons wrapped up the weekend with an afternoon match against Valparaiso on Sunday. The Crusaders just edged the 'Dons 5-2. Coulson won at #4 singles. Hager took her match at #3 to a third set but fell to Kim Sajevic.
The Mastodons again took the doubles point against Valparaiso. Coulson and Lish won their fourth doubles match of the weekend while Lisa Bartelheim and Hanna Hager won at #3.
The Mastodons (6-8) will head to Wisconsin-Milwaukee this weekend for a match on Saturday. Their next home match is April 17th against IUPUI and Butler at the IPFW Tennis Courts.
