
Ladies Finish 13th at North/South

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - IPFW Women's Golf headed to sunny Florida for their second tournament of the spring season. The 'Dons finished 13th in a field of 18, and matched a team 18 hole record in the process.
The Mastodons finished the two round tournament with a team score of 655. On day one the ladies shot a 327, matching their low 18 hole record set in the fall at the IPFW Fall Classic.
Jillian Speece led the 'Dons with a 160, tied for 23rd. Alison Rathsman and Nicolle Geyer each finished with a 164, tied for 39th.
Jacksonville University took top honors with a team score of 622.
Shasta Averyhardt of Jackson State took medalist with a 145, one over par.
The Mastodons will now head to Butler for the Butler Spring Invite on the 19th and 20th.
