Fort Wayne, IN - IPFW Women's Tennis wrapped up their season today with a dual match with Butler University. The Bulldogs proved victorious in a tough match, 4-3.
The Mastodons started the match off right, taking the doubles point. Ashley Coulson and Stacy Lish won at #1 by a final of 8-2. Sachi Janek and Alexa Rang had to dig deep, winning at #3, 8-6.
In singles, Lisa Bartelheim wrapped up her career at IPFW with a win at #5. She won in straight sets, 6-2, 6-0. In her career, Bartelheim has had 123 total wins between doubles and singles matches.
Mollee Carpenter won at #6 after dropping the first set and coming back for the next two. The Mastodons fell to Butler, 4-3.
IPFW finishes the season 13-11.
