Ladies Finish Tied for 5th After Rain Out

CINCINNATI, Oho - The UC Women's Spring Invitational ended early with a rain out. After one round the 'Dons finished tied for 5th with Northern Kentucky in 11 team field.
The Mastodons finished the first round with a team score of 329, 16 strokes behind winner Detroit with a 313.
Abbey Waltke led the 'Dons with a 79, tied for 7th. Alison Rathsman was tied for 16th with an 81.
Cincinnati's Hillery Wilson took medalist with a 73, one over par.
Oakland University just edged IPFW by three strokes, but the 'Dons finished ahead of Youngstown State (7th) and IUPUI (8th).
The Mastodons will now get ready for their last tournament at Loyola-Chicago. The Loyola Rambler Invitational is April 16th and 17th.
