Quincy, IL - The IPFW men's volleyball team racked up its fourth consecutive win on Friday night at Quincy.
The Mastodons blanked the Hawks by the scores of 30-24, 30-22, 30-25.
After beginning the season 0-2, the 'Dons have raised their record to 4-2 and 2-1 in the Midwestern Intercollegiate Volleyball Association.
Senior outside hitter C.J. Macias and senior middle Josh Stewart led the Volleydons with 12 kills each. Stewart had no hitting errors and slugged .750. Macias fired off three service aces and had six digs.
Senior outside hitter Brock Ullrich also had three service aces and was one of three 'Dons with seven digs, joining senior opposite Jason Yhost and sophomore libero Matt Pliske.
Senior Dan McNerney, starting at setter, put up 40 assists.
Quincy (7-6, 0-5) was led by Peter Coley with a match-high 17 kills.
The Mastodons step out of conference to visit a pair of Pennsylvania schools next weekend.
The Saint Francis Red Flashes host the Mastodons on Friday night, while #2 Penn State is Saturday night's opponent. Both matches begin at 7:00 p.m.
