FORT WAYNE, Ind. - After day two of the IPFW Fall Classic, the Mastodons stayed in fourth place out of six teams and finished the tournament with a team, and two-day total of 652 on the par 72, 6,075 yard Chestnut Hills Golf Club.
IPFW senior Alison Rathsman finished tied for ninth, leading the Mastodons with a 161.
Also for IPFW, Abbey Waltke finished tied for 11th with a 163, while Nikki LeRose finished tied for 13th with a 165. Jacque and Jillian Speece finished tied for 19th with 167.
Playing individually for IPFW were Stephanie Hoppes (179) and Tosha Embry (198).
While Butler University had the best team score for day one (306), Chicago State had the better two-day total as they took tournament honors with a 635.
Lauren Showers of Butler finished in first place individually with a 36-hole total of 152. The best 18 holes of the tournament were shot by University of Dayton's Katie Dempsey, and UW-Green Bay's Katie Tabbert who finished second and third respectively with a second round 74 ( 2).
