HAMMOND, Ind. - The Mastodons posted a 726 team total, placing them 13th in the Chicago State Cougar Classic, held at Lost Marsh Golf Course in Hammond.
Butler University finished in first place with a team total of 622, while IUPUI was four spots behind to finish in second place
Freshman Taylor Lamphier fell four spots from yesterday's 86, posting an 90 and 36-hole score of 176 to share 64th place.
Another freshman Mastodon, Maggie Talbert, carded a 89 in the second round for a final score of 177 for 68th place, while sophomore Breanna Hatter posted a 90 today to round her tournament total to 185.
Junior Tosha Embry (96-92) tied Bria Norris of Tennessee State for 81st place after she closed the tournament at 188. Freshman Meredith Holt closed out her two-round total at 204 for 84th place.
The 'Dons will head to Edwardsville, IL., for the Double Tree Intercollegiate next week (September 27-28) at the Sunset Hills Country Club.
