Becca Selner led IPFW with a 3rd Place run at Oakland

Rochester, MI - The IPFW women's cross country team placed five runners in the Top 10 in Saturday's Grizzly Open, hosted by Oakland University.

Due to timing issues at the event, only the Top 12 results are available. When, and if the complete results become available, they will be updated.

IPFW was led by sophomore Becca Selner who traversed the 4K course in a time of 14:45. That was good for third place overall and just :16 behind race winner Sara Lieblein of Oakland.

Freshman Jordan Tomecek finished in fifth place overall in a time of 15:02. Close behind Tomecek in seventh, eighth and ninth were junior Sarah Hutchings (15:15), senior Felicia Mondry (15:20) and freshman Amaya Ayers (15:27).

IPFW will now get a chance to run at home. The Mastodons will host the IPFW Invitational on Saturday afternoon at Hefner Fields. Start time is 11:00 a.m.
