EVANSTON, Ill. - The IPFW women's golf team closed out regular season play on Tuesday with a ninth place finish at the Loyola Invitational in Evanston, Indiana at the Evanston Golf Club after posting a team total of 707 (357-350).

Sophomore Alyssa Turney led the Mastodons on day two of the invitational after she fired a round of 86 to tie for 30th place and posted a total score of 171 (85-86).

IPFW freshman Maggie Talbert improved 14 strokes from round one to finish the invite with a two-round score of 176 (95-81) for 40th place overall.

Also improving from the first round, freshman Taylor Lamphier finished in 45th place after her eight-stroke improvement led her to finish with an 184 (96-88).

Junior Tosha Embry tied for 46th place with an 188 total (82-106) while sophomore breanna Hatter finished in 49th place with a two-round total of 190 (95-95).

The Mastodons will head to Primm, Nevada next week for the Summit League Championship on Monday and Tuesday (April 18-19) at the Primm Valley Golf Club.
