FORT WAYNE, Ind. – The IPFW women's volleyball team defeated Wright State on Tuesday night 25-16, 25-14, 25-16 to record their sixth straight victory.

Haley Emenhiser tallied one of her five kills in the first set pushing the lead to 10-5 and it was another Emenhiser kill that made the score 20-12. The Mastodons ended set one with a 25-16 win off a kill from redshirt freshman Hailie Ripley.
The 'Dons once again opened up a lead in the second set. Freshman Sarah Heckman recorded her first kill of the night to make the score 8-5 and another Heckman kill increased the lead to 10-6. The Mastodons experimented with many different lineups on Tuesday night as nearly everyone on the roster saw playing time. Back-to-back attack errors from Wright State pushed the lead to 21-13 and Heckman would end the match moments later with a kill off a Megan Steenhuysen assist.
IPFW jumped out to a 6-1 lead in the third set. The Raiders fought back to close the gap, but it wasn't enough as IPFW won their sixth consecutive match. Freshman Katie Higginbotham was very active for IPFW in the third set, recording three kills early in the contest.
