The Bulldogs evened the match by winning the second set 25-23. Tirah Le'au and Chloe Buckendahl led the way for the Bulldogs recording nine and seven kills respectively. Spencer gave IPFW at 27-26 advantage with a kill off a Steenhuysen assist and the match would be won on the next play as an attack error from Le'au gave IPFW the victory.
