
Mastodons Conclude Season Ninth at Summit League Championship

NEBRASKA CITY, Neb. - The IPFW women's golf season came to a close as the Mastodons finish ninth at the Summit League Championship, shooting a final-round 349 to end the week with a total score of 1,007.
Played at the par-72, 6,179-yard Arbor Links Golf Club, Denver captured the team title over second place South Dakota State with a three-day score of 878. Jessica Carty of Denver also captured the individual medalist honors, finishing with a 54-hole score of 1-over-par 217.
For the tournament, the 'Dons were led by Madison Chesnutt in a tie for 30th place with a 247. Abigail Carlsen ended her season in 32nd place, shooting a 248. Candi Keller led the team on the final day with an 85 to finish 40th overall at 255. One spot back with a three-day score of 258 was Brenna Sherwood. Jenna Kurosky concluded the team scoring for IPFW with a 265 to end the tournament in 45th position.
