Fort Wayne Concludes Season with 1-0 Loss to Oral Roberts

FORT WAYNE, Ind. - On senior day (Sunday, Oct. 29), the Fort Wayne women's soccer team fell to Oral Roberts 1-0 at Hefner Soccer Complex.
Kallianne Mogler and Kassidy Simpkins were honored before the match, recognizing their accomplishments and dedication to the Fort Wayne women's soccer program.
The first half was scoreless, resulting in nine saves on 20 shots faced for Haley Lydon in the first 45 minutes. Breanna Buche had the only shot on goal for the Mastodons in the first half.
Late in the second half, Caroline Frank scored the game-winning goal on a free kick just outside the 18 yard box.
Fort Wayne finishes the season 1-17-0, 0-7-0 Summit League, while Oral Roberts improves to 8-9-1, 5-2 Summit League, and will move on to the Summit League Tournament.
