Men's Golf Earns GCAA Outstanding Team Academic Award

NORMAN, Okla. - The Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA) announced its 2018-19 Outstanding Team Academic Award Winners on Wednesday (July 17), and the Purdue Fort Wayne men's golf team found a place on the list of winners.
This is the sixth season in a row that the Mastodons have earned the GCAA Outstanding Team Academic Award, and eighth overall.
To be elegible for the award, a team must have a team GPA of 3.0 or higher.
New Mexico won the Division I category, while Newberry (Division II) took the overall Academic National Champion honor home, with a team GPA of 3.84.
