Fort Wayne Native Rylie Parker Scores Career-High vs. Wright State

FORT WAYNE, Ind. - On Friday, January 29, Fort Wayne native Rylie Parker recorded a career-high 13 points and six rebounds against Wright State in Purdue Fort Wayne's 77-50 loss in the Gates Sports Center.
In addition to Parker's career-highs, Valerie Clark scored 12 points which was also a new best for the redshirt-junior. She finished with four 3-pointers on six attempts, which ties the best by a Mastodon this season. Parker and Clark were the two Mastodons in double-figures.
The difference in Friday's game came early on, as Wright State started the game on an 18-0 run. Aubrey Stupp broke into the scoring column first, knocking down a 3-pointer.
The Mastodons looked their best in the third quarter. Parker had seven of her points, scoring on three of her four shots. She only missed a 3-pointer. Clark banked in 3-pointer as well, helping Purdue Fort Wayne score 17 points in the third quarter.
The 'Dons ended the game on a 6-0 run with a triple from Parker, a turnaround jumper from Stupp, and a freebie from Parker.
Purdue Fort Wayne drops to 0-15, 0-13 Horizon League. Wright State improves to 10-5, 10-3 Horizon. These two teams will meet again tomorrow at 2 p.m. in the Gates Sports Center.
