Purdue Fort Wayne Picked Fifth in #HLVB Preseason Poll

INDIANAPOLIS - The Horizon League released the #HLVB Preseason Poll on Wednesday, August 25, and the Purdue Fort Wayne women's volleyball team was slotted at fifth.
The Mastodons finished fourth in the league in the spring of 2021, and will be led by reigning Horizon League Player of the Year Katie Crowe this fall. Wright State, which won the Horizon League Championship and regular season championship in the spring, was selected as the favorite to win the fall 2021 title. UIC and Northern Kentucky both picked up a first-place vote.
Purdue Fort Wayne opens up the season on Friday, August 27 when they host the Purdue Fort Wayne Invitational Presented by Sonesta Select. Horizon League play for the Mastodons begins on Thursday, September 23 when the 'Dons host Green Bay.
