Purdue Fort Wayne Women's Basketball Announces League Schedule

FORT WAYNE, Ind. - The Horizon League announced the 2022-23 women's basketball league schedules on Wednesday (Aug. 17). Purdue Fort Wayne will play 20 league contests with a home-and-home against all 10 opposing league schools.
The Mastodons will open their third season in the Horizon League with two home games on December 2 and 4 against Detroit Mercy and Oakland. Last season, the 'Dons beat Detroit Mercy twice by a combined 20 points.
After final exams, the Mastodons will spend the end of the calendar year at Robert Morris (Dec. 29) and Youngstown State (Dec. 31). They will return to the Gates Sports Center on January 4 to play IUPUI. The Jaguars will be without four-time Horizon League Player of the Year Macee Williams for the first time in five years.
After a road trip to last season's Horizon League Championship runner-up Cleveland State (Jan. 6), the 'Dons are back in the Gates Center for a pair against Green Bay (Jan. 12) and Milwaukee (Jan. 14). After that, the Mastodons will play four-straight road games at Northern Kentucky (Jan. 20), Wright State (Jan. 22), Oakland (Jan. 26) and Detroit Mercy (Jan. 28).
2021-22 regular season co-champion Youngstown State will visit the Gates Center on February 2, followed by Robert Morris two days later. A road trip to IUPUI (Feb. 9) breaks up the homestand before Cleveland State (Feb. 13), Wright State (Feb. 16) and Northern Kentucky (Feb. 18) visit the Summit City. The Mastodons will wrap up the regular season in Wisconsin, visiting Milwaukee (Feb. 23) and Green Bay (Feb. 25).
