Five Men's Cross Country Runners Set Top-10 Times at NCAA Great Lakes Regional

NORTON, Ohio - The Purdue Fort Wayne men's cross country team replaced half of the program's top 10 10K list on on Friday (Nov. 15) at the NCAA Great Lakes Regional. Six of the seven competing runners set personal best 10K times in the meet.
Harrison Niswander was the first Purdue Fort Wayne runner to cross the finish line, finishing the meet in 31:34.5 and ranking second in the program's 10K finishers. Niswander best the fourth-place mark that he set last year by over 20 seconds (31:55:6), this time earned him 98th. Austin Hall was the next Mastodon to complete the course, placing 103rd (31:40.8).
Twins Nathan Mills and Nicholas Mills finished their final collegiate meet with just a millisecond separating their times. Nathan Mills finished 132nd, with a time of 32:11.6 that tops his brother's fifth place on the programs top-10 list. Nicholas Mills takes sixth on the same leaderboard with a 32:11.7 finish and placing 133rd.
Marcus Ridge filled out the Mastodons' top-five finishers in his first collegiate 10K. His time of 32:47.3 ranks ninth on the program's top-10 finishers and earned him 161st.
Colten Gasson was the fifth 'Don to record a place in the program's top-10 finishers, taking over the 10th spot with a time of 32:52.5. This finish placed Gasson at 166th. Kobe Milledge ran a personal best time of 33:03.0, finishing 171st.
Purdue Fort Wayne earned 627 points at the NCAA Great Lakes Regional, finishing 21st. Notre Dame won the meet with 70 points.
