
Nicole Jones and Panna Ratkai Earn Academic All-League Honors

Jones owns a 3.87 GPA in the psychology program and was a CSC Academic All-District in 2022. She was a four-time Horizon League Academic Honor Roll recipient as well. On the court, she is one of two setters in a 6-2 system that has dished out 1,521 assists that ranks third in the country. She was named the Purdue Fort Wayne Invitational MVP earlier this season and dished out the 1,000th assist of her career on her Senior Day.
Ratkai has a 3.76 GPA in her pursuit of two majors in communications and organizational leadership. She was an All-Academic Team Honorable Mention as a redshirt-freshman and an Academic Honor Roll recipient in the spring of 2024. The reigning Horizon League Offensive Player of the Year owns seven Player of the Week awards in her career and is the only active sophomore in the NCAA with over 1,000 kills in her career. She leads the Horizon League with 4.61 kills and 5.26 points per set in league play.
Jones and Ratkai are also both valued members of the media services department.
The Mastodons will begin their postseason run on Friday (Nov. 22) when they play No. 4 seed Green Bay in the quarterfinal of the Horizon League Championship in Dayton, Ohio.
