Erin Woodson Named #HLWBB Freshman of the Week For Fourth Time

INDIANAPOLIS - Purdue Fort Wayne's Erin Woodson was selected as the Horizon League Freshman of the Week on Monday (Feb. 26), marking her fourth time earning the award.
Woodson helped Purdue Fort Wayne to a 2-0 road record this week, with wins at Northern Kentucky and IUPUI. With the wins, the Mastodons clinched a top-four seed in the Barbasol Horizon League Championship and a home game for the quarterfinal round on March 7.
Woodson averaged 5.0 points and 4.0 rebounds per game, pitching in eight points in a 12-point win at Northern Kentucky. She had four rebounds in each game.
This is Woodson's fourth Freshman of the Week honor. Only Northern Kentucky's Carter McCray has more awards this season. Woodson and the Mastodons are back in action on Wednesday (Feb. 28) when they welcome Green Bay to the Gates Sports Center.
