Mastodons Claim Best NCAA Regional Finish Since 2008

EVANSVILLE, Ind. - The Purdue Fort Wayne women's cross country program finished 20th at the 2025 NCAA Great Lakes Regional on Friday (Nov. 14), the best team finish since 2008.
Seniors Riley Tate (21:24.85) and Ava Genovese (21:49.26) led the Mastodons in their final meet, finishing in 64th and 94th respectively. Haylee Hile earned 144th (22:36.27), Lydia Carrell placed 150th (22:41.77) and Kynzlei Bassett finished 158th (22:46.95) to round out the 'Dons top-five finishers.
Faith Allen (22:56.61) and Faith Norris (23:07.20) also completed the Angel Mounds Cross Country Course, finishing in 163rd and 171st.
Purdue Fort Wayne collected 585 points, good for 20th of the 32 team scores. Notre Dame (22) and Wisconsin (95) secured automatic bids to the NCAA Cross Country Championship.
