
Four Mastodons Named CSC Academic All-District

GREENWOOD, Ind. - Four Purdue Fort Wayne women's basketball players were named to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District list on Tuesday (March 25): Lauren Ross, Amellia Bromenschenkel, Jordan Reid and Audra Emmerson.
Ross advances to Academic All-America consideration, which will be announced April 15. To qualify for the CSC Academic All-District Team, student-athletes must have at least a 3.5 cumulative GPA, compete in at least 90% or start in least 66% of games, and be at a sophomore-or-higher academic standing.
Ross is the best 3-pointer shooter in the country at 47.7 percent this season. The 2024-25 Horizon League Newcomer of the Year and First Team All-League selection led Purdue Fort Wayne with 15.5 points per game. She owns a 4.0 GPA in her pursuit of a master's degree in organizational leadership. She also had a 4.0 GPA in her undergraduate programs at Western Michigan and Michigan State. This is Ross' second Academic All-District honor. She was an Academic All-America Third Team honoree in 2022-23.
Bromenschenkel scored 10.8 points per game for the Mastodons this season, the team's third-leading scorer. She was named an All-Horizon League Second Team performer this season after shooting 41.8 percent from 3-point range in league play. She was selected to the Horizon League Championship All-Tournament Team this season. Bromenschenkel had a 3.75 undergraduate GPA and a 3.83 GPA in her business administration graduate program. This is Bromenschenkel's third CSC Academic All-District nod.
Reid was the 2024-25 Horizon League Sixth Player of the Year this season after being named an NAIA All-American last season. For the 'Dons, 6.8 points per game, up to 7.7 in league play and up to 10.0 in the last 12 games of the season. Reid owns a 3.80 GPA in the organizational leadership program for her master's degree. She earned a 3.50 GPA in her undergraduate degree at Indiana Wesleyan. This is Reid's first CSC Academic All-District honor.
Emmerson started all 36 games for the Mastodons, averaging 7.6 points per game in her senior season. She is a five-time Horizon League Academic Honor Roll selection and was a Horizon League All-Academic Team selection last season. She ranks in the top-10 in program history with 202 3-point field goals. This is Emmerson's third CSC Academic All-District award.
