Mastodon WBB to Start Home-and-Home Series With Xavier

FORT WAYNE, Ind. - The Purdue Fort Wayne women's basketball program will start a home-and-home series with Xavier, the Mastodons announced on Friday (July 11).
Head coach Maria Marchesano's squad will visit Xavier for a game on Friday, November 7 as a part of the 2025-26 slate. The Musketeers will make a return trip to Fort Wayne in the 2026-27 season.
The Mastodons and Musketeers have met three times before, most recently in 2017. The two teams have not played in Fort Wayne since 2004.
Last season, Xavier went 7-24 and advanced to the BIG EAST quarterfinal. Purdue Fort Wayne was 27-9 and earned a berth to the WNIT Great 8.
