Purdue Fort Wayne WBB Turns in 24th-Best GPA Nationally

ATLANTA - The Purdue Fort Wayne women's basketball program had the 24-best GPA among NCAA Division I institutions in the 2024-25 season, the Women's Basketball Coaches Association announced on Tuesday (July 22). The Mastodons had a team GPA of 3.624.
The WBCA is in its 30th year of awarding the Academic Top 25. This is the fourth time Purdue Fort Wayne has landed in the WBCA Academic Top 25. The WBCA Academic Top 25 recognizes NCAA Division I, II and III, NAIA and two-year college women's basketball teams across the nation that carry the highest combined GPAs inclusive of all student-athletes on their rosters for the entire season.
There were six Horizon League schools on the list: Green Bay (1st - 3.862), Youngstown State (3rd - 3.781), Cleveland State (17th - 3.685), Northern Kentucky (3.678), Milwaukee (20th - 3.667) and Purdue Fort Wayne (3.624). Purdue Fort Wayne was the only Division I school from Indiana in the top 25.
