Gottman and Reschly Sweep #HLGolf Awards

INDIANAPOLIS - Emily Gottman of the Purdue Fort Wayne women's golf team and Brock Reschly of the Purdue Fort Wayne men's golf team were selected as the Horizon League Golfers of the Week on Thursday (Feb. 24).
This is the first Golfer of the Week award for both Gottman and Reschly in their careers. Purdue Fort Wayne is the only school through the first three weeks of the season to have both a men's and women's representative on the Golfers of the Week list.
Gottman finished in a tie for seventh place at Stonehill's Battle at the Beach with a score of 75-81-156. It was Gottman's second time finishing inside the top-10 in her freshman season. Gottman led the team to a third-place finish in the event.
Gottman and the Mastodons will visit Northern Kentucky's Spring Fling tournament on March 13-15.
Reschly also finished in a tie for seventh place at the Savannah Intercollegiate at the Club at Savannah Harbor with a score of 71-74-76-221. It was Reschly's second top-10 of the season and the third of his career.
Reschly and the Mastodons will compete next at the Surf Club Invitational hosted by Appalachian State on March 9-10.
