Mastodon MG Heads South For Surf Club Intercollegiate

FORT WAYNE, Ind. - Purdue Fort Wayne men's golf will visit Myrtle Beach for Appalachian State's Surf Club Intercollegiate next week (Monday-Tuesday, March 9-10).

About the Course
Our course is Par 72, featuring greens renovated in 2016 by John Lafoy and converted from Bentgrass to Champion in 2016. It has 4 tee boxes with varying degrees of difficulty to offer golfers of all types an enjoyable and challenging experience. We also have a Golf Shop staffed by PGA of America golf professionals, featuring great logo apparel, supplies, and equipment for your golf needs. Utilizing 200 acres of gently contoured, varied terrain to top advantage, this 18-hole track was crafted to complement its beautiful setting. The practice facilities include a driving range, short game area, and putting green. Among our many accolades, our facility received a 5-star rating from Tripadvisor for things to do in the greater Myrtle Beach Area.

Justin Hicks, Brock Reschly, Julian Dugan, Nick Holder and Cody Coleman will compete for the team score. AJ Agnew and Nick Bellush will compete at individuals.
Brick By Brock
Brock Reschly was named the Horizon League Golfer of the Week after taking seventh at the Savannah Invitational. It was his first weekly award and second top-10 finish in his career.

Justin Hicks (4th, 74.19), Brock Reschly (5th, 74.21), Nick Holder (7th, 74.51), Julian Dugan (8th, 74.57), and AJ Agnew (9th, 74.97) are all in the top-10 in program history for career scoring averages.
A New Record!
The Mastodons shot an 846 at the Joe Feaganes Marshall Invitational on September 8-9, which matched the program record for a 54-hole event.
Last Time Out
Purdue Fort Wayne finished seventh at the Savannah Invitational (Feb. 22), with Brock Reschly earning a seventh-place finish on the individual leaderboard.

The Mastodons will head to Indianapolis for the Don Benbow Butler Spring Invitational on March 30-31.
