Hunar Mittal Turns in Season-Best at Boilermaker Spring Classic

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - Hunar Mittal finished the Boilermaker Spring Classic with a score of 231 on Monday (April 13), which was a season-low for the junior.
Mittal led the Mastodons with a 39th-place finish thanks to a final round of 74. She had 14 pars and a birdie on hole 18, a 383-yard par-4.
Emily Gottman turned in a 239 for 74th place. Like Mittal, she did not have anything worse than a bogey in her final round of 77. She added a birdie on the 150-yard seventh to go with 11 pars.
One shot back of Gottman, Natalie Papa tied for 78th with a 240. Her third-round 79 featured birdies on holes eight and 13,the latter of which was her last hole of the event.
Lillian Gottman shot 83 for a two-day total of 243. She had 10 pars in round three for 85th place.
Lara Dommach also played for the team score, shooting 91 for a three-round total of 256 for 93rd place. Her round was highlighted by a birdie on hole nine.
Lillie Cone played as an individual and finished in 91st place with a 251. She had three birdies in round three.
The Mastodons finished 16th as a team with a 952. They had their best round of the event on Monday with a 313.
Purdue Fort Wayne will head to Florida in two weeks for the Horizon League Championship (April 25-27).
