Purdue Fort Wayne Women's Golf Announces Fall Schedule

FORT WAYNE, Ind. - Purdue Fort Wayne women's golf head coach Jim Earle announced the fall 2026 schedule for his program.
The Mastodons will have a unique start to the year with the inaugural Midwest Match Play on August 31-September 1. They will play each of UIC, Southern Indiana and Detroit Mercy in a round-robin head-to-head format. The 'Dons have not played in a match play style event since the 2023-24 season, and have never done so in the fall season.
After their match play event, the 'Dons will play in two 54-hole tournaments in September: the Velvet Classic (Sept. 14-15) and Hill YEAH! (Sept. 28-29). The 2026 edition of Murray State's Velvet Classic will be the fourth running of the event. Stonehill's Hill YEAH! is a new tournament.
Purdue Fort Wayne will wrap up the fall season with two 36-hole tournaments: Mercyhurst's Evann Parker Memorial (Oct. 12-13) and Evansville's Braun Intercollegiate (Oct. 19-20). The Mastodons have played in the Braun Intercollegiate twice before (2023, 2024).
The 'Dons will return for the spring season after the calendar turns to 2027. That schedule will be announced at a later date.
