Fired rounds of 74-79 for a 42nd place finish at the Pat Hicks Invitational... tied for 46th place with a 155 (77-78) at the Don Benbow Invitational...

2009 Season
Balyeat played exceptionally well as a junior for the Mastodons, especially in the Spring of 2009. In nine rounds, he posted the second best scoring average on the team with a 75.3. He led the team in two statistical categories, birdies made (28) and driving accuracy (73%).

2007 Season
Balyeat was named to the Division I Independent All-Academic Team with a 3.4 GPA in business.

High School
At Bishop Luers, Balyeat was named to the All-Conference (SAC) team as a sophomore, junior and senior, and All-Area teams his junior and senior years. In his senior season, he was the individual SAC champion and was runner-up at Sectionals. Balyeat was named MVP at Luers in 2005. He was coached by A.J. Kalver.

Personal
Balyeat is the son of Dan (deceased) and Deb Balyeat and has two siblings, Jennifer and Kyle (deceased). Balyeat is studying Business Management at IPFW.
