Haley Seibert was promoted to Assistant Coach in June of 2018 after serving as the Director of Basketball Operations for the 2017-18 season. She also spent the previous two seasons as a graduate assistant coach in 2015-16 and 2016-17. Seibert played four seasons for the Mastodons from 2011-15.
Seibert's teams at Purdue Fort Wayne have been known for their academic success, as in 2019-20, the team had the highest GPA in the department with a 3.59 GPA in the fall semester. Each of the 12 student-athletes on the team had over a 3.0. Under her advisement, Anna Lappenküper became a Purdue Fort Wayne Exemplar Student in 2019-20, one of just nine in the university.
Seibert has coached a 1,000-point scorer, De'Jour Young, who scored 1,197 points from 2015-19. Seibert also coached one of the most elite shot-blockers and rebounders in program history. Sh'Toya Sanders averaged 1.9 blocks per contest in her two years in Fort Wayne after transferring from Chicago State. In just two seasons, Sanders was second on the all-time blocks list with 89, and her 1.9 per game is first in program history. She averaged 8.1 rebounds per game, which is the most by a Mastodon in the Division I era, and third-most overall.
Seibert capped off her four-year playing career at Purdue Fort Wayne as the school's all-time leader in free throw percentage at 86.8 percent. She also set a new single-season record of 91.4 percent, fifth-best all-time in a Summit League season. Seibert's 41.3 three-point shooting percentage was also top in Purdue Fort Wayne history while ranking second in Summit League history. She is a member of the program's 1,000-point club, scoring 1,386 points in a Mastodon uniform. This is the ninth-most in school history.
