2009 Season
Recorded her best 6K time of 22:36.94 at the Great Lakes Regional. Earned top ten finishes at the Golden Grizzly Open 5K (4th-18:58) and IPFW Invitational 5K (5th-19:34.11). Finished the season with a 23:07.40 at the Summit League Championships.
2008 Season
Hutchings competed in every meet in the 2008 season. She posted a 19:55 at the Mel Brodt Invite. Ran a 23:54 in her first collegiate 6K at the Roy Griak Invitational. Raced to a personal best 18:48 in the Gold Division 5K Race at Notre Dame. Recorded a 22:50 at the University of Arkansas Chili Pepper Invite and closed out the season with a personal best 22:17 (21st place) at The Summit League Championships. Sarah was named to the 2008-09 Summit League All-Academic Team.
High School
A 2008 graduate of Penn High School in Mishawaka, Indiana, Hutchings was named All-Conference for the Kingsmen. She was also part of the NIC 4 x 800 championship team.
Personal
A Chemistry major with minors in Physics and Spanish , Sarah is the daughter of Peter and Sue Hutchings. She has a sister, Alicia and a brother, David.
