2009 SEASON
As the backup goalkeeper, Marx appeared and started one game as a freshman. In her lone start against Valpo, Marx made five saves, good enough for a .714 save percentage.
HIGH SCHOOL
Marx, a goalkeeper from Ashland, Wisconsin, signed with IPFW after a four year stint playing for Washburn High School. While at Washburn, she helped lead the Castle Guards to four straight Regional Championships. In her senior season, Marx made 28 saves in nine games, producing four shut-outs along the way. Thanks to her fine play, she was named 1st team All-Conference as a junior and senior. Aside from soccer, Marx also starred on the basketball court, earning 1st team All-Conference accolades her junior and senior seasons. Off the playing field, Marx earned numerous awards for her hard work in the class, winning such awards as the Women's Sports Advocates of Wisconsin Award and the WIAA Scholar Athlete Award.
Personal
Brittany is the daughter of Kim and Roger Marx. She plans on majoring in Mathematics while at IPFW.
