In 2009 he was a volunteer assistant coach at Cal State Fullerton working with the men's soccer team, where he was the goalkeeper coach, edited coaching video, and trained the non travel roster players. A year earlier he was the volunteer assistant coach with the women's team at Cal State Fullerton.
Over the past five years he was the club administrator for the Fullerton Rangers Soccer Club, where he ran the day-to-day operations of the company, in addition to managing fundraising operations. He was a staff coach for 16 squads during his time with the Fullerton Rangers, and also worked as a staff coach for the Apple Valley Storm Soccer Club.
He holds a Bachelor of Science from Cal State Fullerton, and is working towards his Master of Arts degree in Coaching and Athletic Administration.
