Garrett Jones began working as a graduate assistant coach for the women's volleyball program in the fall of 2016 after completing his volleyball career at Lourdes University. He earned his bachelor’s degree in criminal justice with a minor in sociology and history.
Jones played four seasons as an outside hitter at Lourdes, helping lead the Gray Wolves to the 2016 NAIA National Invitational tournament. Jones tallied 649 kills, 331 digs, and 125 blocks in his four years at Lourdes. He was also an active member on campus, serving as a resident assistant in the dorms, worked at Freshmen Orientation, as well as a peer mentor with the freshmen transition class.
As a player, Jones began his volleyball career at Las Vegas H.S. where he was a three-year letterwinner. Jones was a two-time All-Conference selection and helped his team to a regional championship in 2010.
