Leslie Johnson begins her second year as IPFW's assistant women's volleyball coach. Leslie played volleyball at Snider High School before earning a scholarship to Eastern Kentucky. Johnson spent one season at Eastern Kentucky before transfering to Ball State in 1991. She continued to play volleyball at Ball State and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Hearing Impaired (1994). In 1995 Johnson was the assistant varsity volleyball coach at Snider High School. From 1997-1999 she worked for Peoria United School District on assessment in Phoenix, Arizona. Johnson coaches one of the 18 teams for Fort Wayne juniors. Last year, she coached Metro Club Team 16 years old that started the season off ranked 59th and ended the season ranked 13th.
