High School: Bowyer earned four varsity letters in volleyball while playing at the Notre Dame Academy in Waterville, Ohio. Her accomplishments include being named All-League and All-District in 2012, while also earning the CYO Outstanding Athlete Award. Bowyer helped her team place fifth at the Nationals in Columbus, Ohio this year, the team placed third at Nationals a year ago when the match was held in Atlanta, Ga.

In 2011, Bowyer was named All-League, and honorable mention All-District. She was also recognized as an All-Tournament Clay Invitational selection. Bowyer also excels in the classroom as she was a member of the All-Academic team from 2009-12.
